AMU faculty conducts faculty development programme at Moradabad
Aligarh : Professor Salma Ahmad, Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University conducted a faculty development programme (FDP) at School of Business, IFTM University, Moradabad. Delivering a lecture, Prof Ahmad urged the participants to engage their students in an interactive discussion and impress on them to focus on the theme and be a good listener. She said that the basic problem the faculty members face is to capture students’ attention and make them focused on the topic. Interesting games and extracurricular activities can be designed to keep the students involved, she added.
Prof Ahmad, along with her research scholars, Mohd Azmi Khan and Amgad Saeed Dabwan, prepared several games to help faculty members understand the problems of interaction with students and ways to solve them in an effective manner. She also discussed various aspects of business studies including finance, operations, human resource and marketing.
A number of faculty members from different business schools attended the FDP.
