AMU students shine in CSIR-UGC JRF-NET
Aligarh : Eight students from the Department of Botany at Aligarh Muslim University have qualified the UGC-CSIR National Eligibility Test and Junior Research Fellowship Examination. Their outstanding performance reflects the university’s commitment to nurturing excellence in research and academics.
The successful candidates, with their ranks, are Nazish Akhtar (JRF-48), Sana (JRF-108), Sadaf Saify (JRF-175), Nourien Bhatti (JRF-131), Mohd Soban Ali (JRF-195), Siddiqa Javed (NET-33), Mohd Sohail Ashraf (NET-49) and Abdullah (NET-77).
Similarly, 10 students of the Department of Geology have qualified the Joint CSIR-UGC JRF/NET examination conducted by the National Testing Agency, Ministry of Education.
The students who have qualified for JRF include Moin Khan (8), Zillur Rahman (12), M. Shaibaz Khan (18), Ghulam Rabbani (36), Ali Habib Alvi (46), Faraz Ahmad (61) and Mahiba (79), and the students who qualified for NET are Syed Aquib Shamshad (47), Mohd Monis Malik (100) and Tahreer Ayaz (108).
The Chairmen of the above departments, Prof M Badruzzaman Siddiqui (Botany) and Prof Kr. Frahim Khan (Geology) congratulated the successful students and said their success is a testimony to their hard work, dedication, and the guidance provided by the faculty members.
