CMR University’s International Conference on Recent Advances in the Field of Economics, Finance, Management, and Technology Concludes with Grand Success
Bengaluru – The School of Economics and Commerce at CMR University, Bengaluru, conducted an International Conference On Recent Advances In The Field Of Economics, Finance, Management & Technology (ICREFMT-2024). Held over two days, on April 5th and 6th, at the university’s AV Hall, OMBR Campus, this pivotal event gathered renowned personalities from various sectors, enriching the discussions with profound insights and experiences.
The conference was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Prof. Prem Vrat, Chairman of the Board of Governors at IIT (ISM)-Dhanbad and Pro-Chancellor of North Cap University, Gurugram, who graced the occasion as the chief guest who had inaugurated the conference. Joining him were Dr. K. C. Ramamurthy, IPS (Retd), former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and chairman of CMR University & CMR Group of institutions, and Prof. Prahlad Kumar, Ex-Dean, Faculty of Commerce, University in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, adding significant prestige to the proceedings.
Prof. M.M. Goel, the pioneering former vice-chancellor of Starex University, Gurugram, and founder of the Needonomics School of Thought, served as the conference host, guiding the event towards a platform for groundbreaking research and innovative discussions. Dr. Sabitha Ramamurthy, the Chancellor of CMR University, delivered the keynote address, offering invaluable insights and guidance to the attendees. Along with the dignitaries Dr. H.B.Raghavendra, Vice Chancellor, CMR University, Dr. Praveen.R, Registrar Presented the report of conference, Dr B.B.Tiwari, Conference General Chair and Director, SOEC,CMR University presented vote of thanks at the event.
The conference showcased the expertise of over 244 delegates from India and abroad, with more than 150 full-length research papers submitted by paper presenters from both national and international spheres, participating in the event both online and offline. Dr. Hemakshi Chokshi, Deputy Head, Guildhall School of Business and Law, London Metropolitan University, UK participated in the Conference. Dr. Chokshi chaired the Panel Discussion on Viksit Bharat 2047. Research scholars from Taylors University, Malaysia presented their papers. The conference acted as a melting pot of ideas, fostering discussions spanning the latest trends and challenges within the realms of economics, finance, management, and technology.
Prof. Prem Vrat, in his address at the conference, had emphasized the importance of nurturing academic spaces that promote creativity, innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, urging students to cultivate a positive mindset conducive to achieving their envisioned dreams. He had also launched the ICREFMT-2024 souvenir.
