UrFU Student Emerges as Winner of Regional Stage in Abilympics Championship
The Ural Federal University hosted the regional stage of the Abilympics national championship in entrepreneurship for people with disabilities. The participants met on April 11 at the UrFU Multifunctional Resource Center for Educational Activities and presented their projects.
This year, six students from the Ural Federal University, Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University, and Ural Forestry College competed in the “Students” category. The jury was made up of active entrepreneurs and Sberbank and Ekaterinburg Employment Center employees. Each participant received an assessment and expert recommendations for their project.
The winners were: 1st place – Anastasia Vorobyova (RSVPU), 2nd place – Alexander Lyzhin (RSVPU), 3rd place – Marat Sakhbiyev (UrFU). They received diplomas, medals, souvenirs, and gifts.
The regional Abilimpics championship was held in the Sverdlovsk Region from April 9 to 12. 695 people took part, including 270 schoolchildren and 350 students. The competitions were held at educational organizations in Ekaterinburg, Kamensk-Uralsky, and Nizhny Tagil.
