CM to e-launch 3 ‘Aadarsh Residential Girls Schools’ and 5 ‘Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Boys Hostels’ in #Gujarat
Gandhinagar: From Gandhinagar on Monday, Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani will make e-launching of three ‘Aadarsh Residential Girls’ School’ and five ‘Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Kumar (Boys) Hostels’ provided free of cost to the students of scheduled castes and developing castes in Gujarat by the state government.
All these complexes have been constructed at a cost of Rs. 61.75-crore by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat.
Of the three ‘Aadarsh Residential Girls’ Schools’, one school each for girl students of schedules castes are located in Vadodara district and at Bakrol in Anand district; while one school for the developing castes is located at Jalalpore in Navsari district.
While five ‘Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Kumar (Boys) Hostels’ are located at Gandhinagar, at Bakrol in Anand district and at Mahuva in Bhavnagar district. These hostels would provide boarding, lodging and studying facilities to 1200 students.
