Aligarh Muslim University to host FDP on ‘Sustainable Development and Green Energy’
Aligarh: A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on ‘Sustainable Development and Green Energy’ will be conducted from September 7 to 11 through online platforms in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Organised under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy scheme, the FDP is designed for the faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, advanced students, participants from the government, industry and bureaucracy, technicians, and staff of host institution. The programme is a part of FDPs to be conducted all over the country under the AICTE ATAL Academy scheme.
“A maximum of 200 participants may be allowed to participate with an upper limit of 30 percent from the host institution. Candidates can register for participations through the AICTE portal,” said Dr Mohammad Rihan, Coordinator of the programme.
He added, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor is keen on adopting green energy and energy conservation measures.
The programme will help in reaching out to different institutions and contribute to the national sustainable development goals.
Prof Parvez Mustaja (Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology), Prof M M Sufiyan Beg (Principal, Z H College of Engineering and Technology), Prof Salman Hameed (Chairman, Department of Electrical Engineering) and Dr Mohammad Rihan (Department of Electrical Engineering) are organising the FDP in the university.
