KIET Group of Institutions ranked among Top 25 Institutions in Band ‘A’ across India in ARIIA 2020 Rankings by Government of India
New Delhi: KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad has been ranked in Band ‘A’ among Top 25 Private Institutions in India out of 674 Higher Education Institutions in ARIIA 2020 Rankings announced on August 18, 2020 by Hon’ble Vice President, Government of India.
The Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is a path-breaking policy initiative started in the year 2019 by the Ministry of Education (formally known as Ministry of Human Resource Development, MHRD), Govt. of India and implemented through AICTE and MHRDs Innovation Cell. The ARIIA ranking is meant to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India based on the indicators related to promotion and support of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development amongst students and faculties.
The e-Award Ceremony of second Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) Rankings 2020 was held on 18 August 2020 in the kind presence of Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu as a Chief Guest, and Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ Hon’ble Education Minister and the Shri Sanjay Shamrao Dhotre, Hon’ble Minister of State (MoS) of Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India as a Guest of Honor.
Total 674 higher education institutions (HEIs) participated under different categories that were broadly divided into Publically-funded Institutions and Private or Self-financed Institutions that were further sub-categorized in Private or Self-financed Universities & Private or Self-financed Colleges/Institutes.
KIET Group of Institutions has earned its position in the Band ‘A’ among Top 25 Private or Self-financed Colleges/Institutes as it scored predominantly high in the assorted parameters including Innovation & Entrepreneurship Infrastructure & facilities, Innovation supported by HEIs, Start-ups supported by HEIs, Teaching & learning on Innovation, IPR & Entrepreneurship and Innovation & Entrepreneurship Awareness among students and faculties and others and thereby seized the proud moment for us.
