Rajouri Admin fully geared up for Jan Abhiyan: DC
Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh on Friday said that the District Administration Rajouri has fully geared up for 3 week Jan Abhiyan being held across the UT in the run up to Phase III of Back to Village Program.
Addressing media persons here , the Deputy Commissioner elucidate the objectives of the Jan Abhiyan saying that it has three main components, including redressal of public grievances, public service delivery and development at Gram Panchayat.
“Jan Abhiyan/Awami Muhim programme has been started to make necessary preparations for identification of different developmental works in each Block of the District for their execution during the upcoming third phase of the Back to Village programme commencing from October 2,2020”, he added.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure the successful implementation of the programme on ground level. He added that special camps are being organised at Tehsil Hqs for issuance of Domicile certificates, ST, SC RBA and other such certificates being issued by the Revenue Department.“ And in addition to this special emphasis is being laid on for hundred-percent coverage of all the eligible persons under the individual beneficiary oriented schemes being implemented by different departments”, he added.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the District Administration Rajouri has made all arrangements to provide maximum relief to the general public by redressing all the genuine demands and issues during the programme. He urged upon the public to ensure maximum participation in the grand public campaign to fulfill the objective of launching the programme and to make the programme a grand success in the District.
He also briefed the media persons that the District Administration is in the process of comprehensive plan preparation which includes the work projected during the B2V1 and B2V2 programmes.
