DC Kathua inspects healthcare facilities at PHC Bhoond
Kathua: Deputy Commissioner Kathua O.P Bhagat, today paid a visit to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Bhoond (Sheetal Nagar) to review the medicare and other necessary facilities being provided to the patients.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections of the health centre and took stock of the medical facilities, being provided to the patients.
He directed health authorities to provide better and qualitative services to the people. He also emphasized on maintaining hygienic conditions in the hospital. He assured that the matter of filling vacant posts of Medical Officer and paramedic staff will be taken up with the higher authorities.
Meanwhile, the district administration today received 100 PPE kits donated by Retd. IGP Police Jagjeet Kumar in collaboration with V.A Technologies here at At Lakhanpur. Deputy Commissioner, Om Parkash Bhagat and SSP Kathua Shailendra Mishra were also present on the occasion.
The Retd. IGP handed over 100 Personal Protection Equipment Kits to Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ashok Choudhary for further distribution among the Frontline workers performing duties in Lakhanpur Sample Collection Centre and other staff dealing with the COVID-19 related duties.
The DC appreciated the gesture of the donors who have extended help to the district administration. He said this would help the medicos and other frontline workers to perform COVID-19 duties in a secure manner.
