A week-long national workshop on Research Methodology #G20

 

Aligarh : In celebration of the G20 Summit 2023 presidency, a week-long national workshop on Research Methodology for Humanities and Social Sciences was inaugurated. The workshop is a collaborative effort between the Coaching and Guidance Cell, Sir Syed Hall (South), AMU, and the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre. The opening ceremony took place on May 19th at Strachey Hall, with Prof Jawaid Iqbal, Dean of the Faculty of International Studies, serving as the Chief Guest.

During his speech, Prof Jawaid emphasized the workshop’s significance and commended the organizers for their initiative. He also spoke about the importance of Research Methodology in the context of PhD studies under the new regulations. Dr Sajjad Hussain, CMO (Emergency and Trauma) JNMCH, was the Guest of Honor and shared his views on the occasion.

Dr Farooq Ahmad Dar, Provost and Workshop Director, provided guidance for the workshop and gave an overview of its objectives. Md Ehtashamul Islam Khan, Senior Hall and Organizing Secretary of the Workshop, delivered the welcome address.

Dr Irfan-ul Haq, Warden Incharge, and Mr Abdul Matin jointly coordinated the proceedings of the workshop and engaged with the scholars.
