Abdullah School organizes Sir Syed Day and Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi functions

 

Aligarh : On the 204th birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Abdullah School of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised several competitions for students through online mode on the life, thoughts and vision of Sir Syed Ahmad.

Umra Zaheer, Superintendent, Abdullah School said collage-making competition for class 2 and 3 students, speech competition for class 4, essay writing competition for class 5, calligraphy competition for class 4, and poster-making competition for class 5 students were successfully held.

Miss Zaheer highlighted the vision of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan for Indian society guided by scientific temperament and rational enquiry.

“Sir Syed undertook the educational and reformation project for emancipation of the masses and their overall progress”, stated Umra Zaheer.

Miss Lubna Imtiaz, Coordinator, cultural activities organised the events.

Similarly, on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the school organised Qirat (recitation of Quran) and Naat-Khowani competitions.
