Accounts Assistant Exam held smoothly across districts of Jammu division
DCs visit exam centres to take stock of arrangements
JAMMU : The OMR based objective type written exam for Accounts Assistant (Finance) posts conducted by J&K Service Selection Board was held smoothly across all districts of Jammu division on Sunday.
Teams of District Administration, including Deputy Commissioners visited Exam centres to take stock of arrangements made for free and fair conduct of exam, besides facilities made available for the candidates appearing in the Exam.
AT DODA
In district Doda the exam for Accounts Assistant (Finance) was held smoothly at 37 centres established across the district.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Sharma and other designated Officers inspected the examination centres to ensure free, fair and transparent conduct of the OMR based written test.
“In all 4207 candidates appeared in the OMR based written examination at 37 examination centres amid tight security and other arrangements pre-requisite for the smooth conduct of the examination” the officials said.
The Deputy Commissioner and other designated officers deployed in flying squads inspected exam centres and assured smooth conduct of the written exam.
AT KISHTWAR
JKSSB Account Assistant (Finance) exam was held across Kishtwar district in a free and fair manner. According to District Observer (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Kishori Lal Sharma, against 3893 registered candidates, only 2635 appeared for the Exam in the District.
Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma along with Senior Superintendent of Police Shafkat Hussain Bhat inspected various JKSSB examination centres and took stock of arrangements for the smooth, free and fair conduct of examination.
AT RAJOURI
To take stock of the arrangements put in place for the smooth and fair conduct of the Account Assistant Exams, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal inspected various examination centres.
Pertinently, more than 10000 students of the district appeared for the exams at 29 centres. Elaborate arrangements in terms of manpower and facilities were put in place. Special teams of observers magistrates/flying squads were constituted for fair conduct of examination.
The DDC, during his visit to the examination centres, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place for the convenience of the candidates.
AT POONCH
Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board Examination for recruitment of Account Assistant concluded smoothly across all examination centers in District Poonch.
Earlier, elaborate arrangements were put in place for successful conduct of the said JKSSB Examination in the district by the district administration.
Besides invigilators, Executive Magistrates, Observers, centres Superintendents and Deputy superintendents had been deployed for the smooth conduct of the exams.
The Additional Deputy commissioner Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain visited all the examination centres established in the district.
After the conclusion of the exam, the Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that 5681 candidates were scheduled to appear in the examination out of which 4199(73.91%) candidates appeared.

Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Babila Rakhwal visited several examination centres to take stock of the arrangements
The DC impressed upon the heads of educational institutions to facilitate smooth conduct of the exam and ensure strict adherence to the Covid SOPs. The DC enquired about the facilities made available for the candidates like seating, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting and maintenance of social distance in examination centres.
