ADC Club, AMU,organizes Hackathon

 

Aligarh: The Area of Dominant Coders (ADC) Club, Department of Computer Science, AMU, organized its first Virtual Hackathon, AMUHACKS 1.0

In the orientation ceremony, Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan welcomed the Chief Guests Er Dolly Bhasin (Director- Innovation and Incubation at Incuspaze, Gurugram) and Mr Rajive Gulati (UN Technology and Innovation Labs, UNIT Labs, UNOICT, United Nations, Gurgaon), in which a total of 60 teams were registered in the Hackathon from various universities/institutes of the country. Out of them, 3 teams were finally selected. The first position was awarded to the team Trigeeks of MCA III Semester Students of the Department of Computer Science, AMU. The second position was won by the team Fuego Alpha of B.Tech III Semester students of the Department of Computer Engineering, AMU. The team Code X of B.Tech V Semester students of the Department of Computer Enginering, AMU received the Consolation prize.

The event was organized by the Dr Mohammad Nadeem (Mentor, ADC Club) and Dr. Faisal Anwer and the student organizers of the Hackathon were Ms Noor Fatima (Coordinator, ADC Club), Mr Syed Mohib Raza (Secretary, ADC Club), Ms Maram, Mr Shoaib Nusrat, Ms Zuha Khan, Mr. Faraz Khan and Mr Nikhil Upadhhyay conducted and managed the online event very effectively.
