Aditya Birla World Academy announced vaccination drive for students in association with SRCC Children’s Hospital
Mumbai : Aditya Birla World Academy (ABWA), India’s leading International School located in South Mumbai, recently organised a vaccination drive for its students and staff children in association with the NH SRCC Children’s Hospital as the government authorized the inclusion of the 15-18 age group for COVID-19 vaccination. The vaccination drive was conducted in NH SRCC Children’s Hospital on 10th January 2022 from 2 pm to 5 pm which was applicable for students of grades 9-12 (born in 2007 or before).
The school aims to follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, under the National Vaccination Programme, to ensure the safety of children. The school has been at the forefront of encouraging vaccination shots to ensure safety and well-being. This brought relief to parents, especially in light of the recent increase in cases, reflecting the urgency in the country as it faces the third COVID-19 wave.
Commenting on organizing the drive, Mrs Radhika Sinha, Principal, Aditya Birla World Academy said, “As we continue to navigate the pandemic, for us at Aditya Birla World Academy nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our children. We urge parents to cooperate and have their children vaccinated at the earliest.”
Aditya Birla World Academy is in line with the government’s mission to vaccinate the youth and is helping in reducing the severity of the Covid-19 outbreaks as the third wave hits the country.
