Admissions in Nalanda University for the academic year 2022

Nalanda University is a postgraduate, research-intensive, international university supported by seventeen (17) participating countries of the East Asia Summit.

Nalanda is a standalone international university unlike any other established in the country. The University was established by a special Act of the Indian Parliament and has been designated as an “Institution of National Importance”. Located in the bucolic town of Rajgir, in the State of Bihar, this historical University is mandated to be an “international institution for the pursuit of intellectual, philosophical, historical and spiritual studies” (Nalanda University Act, 2010).

The admissions for the academic year 2022 are open; currently, the University offers post-graduation programs in the following streams

1.     MBA Sustainable Development and Management

2.     MSc Ecology and Environment Studies

3.     MA Buddhist Studies, Philosophy, and Comparative Religions

4.     MA Hindu Studies

5.     MA Historical Studies

6.     MA World Literature in English
