Agriculture education day observed in Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: Commemorating the birth anniversary of first President of India and first food and agriculture minister, Dr Rajendra Prasad, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Research, Aligarh Muslim University observed an agriculture education day to spread awareness regarding the contributions of Dr Prasad in strengthening India’s agricultural foundation.

Under the programme, a march was organized with more than a hundred staff members and students participating in it, displaying posters and banners on Dr Rajendra Prasad’s role in nation building.

Later, the Dean, Professor Mujeebur Rahman Khan, while addressing an open-house function, underline the importance of agriculture education day and highlighted Dr Prasad’s contributions in the upliftment of farmers.
