Aligarh: The Department of Amraze Jild wa Zohrawia, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University organized an e-Workshop on “Dermatoscopy”.
Dr Sushmita Kumari (Consultant Dermatologist, SAI Hospital, Mumbai) highlighted the basics of dermoscopy and various types of tool and techniques used in it.
Dr Saba Ansari (Assistant Professor, TM Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai) delivered a talk on the applied aspects of the topic and discussed important findings in the study of various skin diseases.
Dr Anuja Sunkwad described issues related to Trichoscopy, Nail Dermoscopy and Nail Capillaroscopy in a detailed and comprehensive manner.
Other panelists included Prof Shakir Jameel (New Delhi), Prof Anzar (Bhopal) and Prof Jamal Akhtar (Lucknow) who shed light on various aspects of the topic.
Earlier, welcoming the guest speakers, Prof Shagufta Aleem (Chairperson, Department of Amraze Jild Wa Zohrawia) informed that more than 500 participants from across the country and abroad, including those from Bangladesh, UAE, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and South Africa, attended the e-workshop.
Dr Mohammad Mohsin (Organizing Secretary) moderated the event and proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Sana Taufique provided technical support.
