Alexandria University: Vice President of Alexandria University Discusses Establishing Joint Master’s Degrees with Bordeaux University

Dr. Ashraf El-Ghandour, Vice President of Alexandria University for Graduate Studies and Research, received at the university’s headquarters in Shatby, a delegation from Bordeaux University, France, headed by Professor Jean-François Brisson, Honorary Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science and Director of the MA Euro-Mediterranean Exchange at Bordeaux University, to discuss the aspects of scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Elfeki, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University, officials of the International Relations Office at Alexandria University, and members of the Euro-Mediterranean Office at the Department of International Relations at Bordeaux University.

Dr. Ashraf Al-Ghandour indicated that the meeting came with the aim of discussing the prospects of scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities, especially in the field of establishing a joint master’s degree within the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean Exchange Law and setting up visions for joint cooperation projects between the two universities’ legal clinics.


Dr. Jean-François Brisson praised the distinguished relations between Alexandria University and French universities in general and Bordeaux University in particular through cooperation in the fields of mutual interest and the exchange of faculty members, students and scientific periodicals with the aim of providing a distinguished educational service.


The meeting witnessed a review of the areas of cooperation between the two sides and the possibility of preparing future meetings in order to develop these relations.
