Alexey Shtykov was elected regional representative of the Innovation Promotion Fund

Alexey Shtykov, Head of the Engineering Center of PetrSU, Deputy Head of the Department for Innovation and Production Activities of PetrSU, took part in a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Karelia Dmitry Rodionov with Deputy General Director of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (Fund for Assistance to Innovation) Andrey Mikitasem, which took place on January 20 via video conferencing.
The key goal of this Russian foundation is to provide financial support to young scientists and small enterprises engaged in scientific research with a high potential for commercialization. Since 1994, the Fund has been promoting the development of a competitive market for innovative developments in Russia, the formation of mechanisms for public-private partnerships in this area. In recent years, the Fund has financially supported hundreds of projects of Karelian participants in such already many well-known programs in our republic as UMNIK, Start, Development, Internationalization, Commercialization and CMIT with a total funding of more than 220 million rubles.

Such projects seem to be very relevant and, undoubtedly, important for the republic, since technological modernization and diversification of the economy and social sphere, increasing the competitiveness of the republic based on the development of traditional and innovative sectors – these are the tasks that we set ourselves in accordance with the strategic planning documents of the republic. ,

The meeting participants agreed on the further development of cooperation. Thus, special attention will be paid to the launch of projects in priority sectors for Karelia. The republic will consider the possibility of regional co-financing and attracting reliable industrial partners to this work. The parties intend to reflect this direction in the updated Agreement, which is planned to be signed.

Also, Alexey Shtykov was approved as the regional representative of the Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere in the Republic of Karelia .
