Aligarh: Professor Parvez Qamar Rizvi (Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University) today planted tree saplings in the university campus as a part of a plantation drive initiated by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

Trees were planted at Shafi House (Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management) and Ali Manzil (Department of Home Science). Chairpersons, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, research scholars and students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences were present.

“Increase in pollution is leading to the depletion of ozone layer and we need to plant trees to fight global warming and secure a better future for the coming generations,” said Prof Parvez Qamar Rizvi.
