Aligarh Muslim University Refutes rumours about Alumni Fund

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University today strongly refuted the rumours being spread by some vested interests about the Alumni Funds. The fund is managed as per government of India finance rules 2007 and the University regulations and its year wise accounts is uploaded on the website.

The university asserted that the falsehood is nothing but a means to prevent the alumni from contributing generously to betterment of their Alma Mater in its centenary year.

The persons, raising question about a fund that is managed with complete transparency, have not made any contribution themselves. The fund is utilised for the purpose for which the donation has been made. The University reserves right to take legal action against persons making baseless and false allegations.
