Aligarh Muslim University to remain close till May 9

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and its maintained institutions will remain closed from May 6 to May 9 in accordance with the Government of Uttar Pradesh declaration for a lockdown to curb the Covid spread.

According to a notification by the Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS), the essential services including medical services, sanitation, electricity, water supply, residential hall services, Central Automobile Workshop, Telephone Department, Department of Land and Gardens, Proctor’s Office and Computer Centre, will continue to work as per the direction of the heads of the concerned department or office.
