All-Russian Physical Education Olympiad for Schoolchildren

The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture took place.
Schoolchildren completed theoretical tasks and practical tests in sports games and athletics. The judges at the Olympiad were teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education. The chief judge of the Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture is candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Vladimir Anatolyevich Kiselev, assistants are 4th year students of the training direction “Pedagogical education” (profile “Physical culture”).

Schoolchildren from the Petrozavodsk city district, Kostomuksha, Segezhsky, Sortavalsky, Suoyarvsky, Prionezhsky, Kondopozhsky and Pryazhinsky districts took part in the Olympiad.

In addition, on the basis of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, a round table “Scientific research and methodological interaction of organizations of different levels of education in the field of physical culture and sports” was held. During the round table, physical education teachers from schools of Karelia took part in the discussion of innovative directions in the field of planning, implementation and methodological support of scientific research and project activities of schoolchildren in the field of physical culture and sports.

The organizer of the round table was the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education, IFKSiT.
