AllA organises Srijana: A National Conference on Female Infertility

Delhi: All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), the apex institute of Ayurveda in India is an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of AYUSH is organizing a Srijana : National Conference on Female Infertility on April 17 and 18 at its Institute. Female Infertility affects millions of people – and has an impact on their families and communities.

According to WHO reports, in 37% of the infertile couple, female infertility was the cause. In India, the case of female infertility is rising and affect approximately 15% of couple. To overcome the issue, AIIA is organizing an exchange of clinical research, and knowledge through a National Conference, followed by panel discussions for which more than 100 delegates have registered for conference.

Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Former VC, DSRRAU Jodhpur, Rajasthan was the Chief Guest for the Conference. Prof. (Dr) Pooja Bhardwaj Former DG AYUSH Was the Guest of Honour for the conference. The Conference was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. (Dr) Tanuja Nesari, Director AIIA, Deans and other senior faculty members of AIIA.

“ I am very happy that AIIA that is a tertiary care hospital under the Ministry of Ayush is organizing a National Conference on Female Infertility. Last month we organized a seminar on male infertility, continuing the series the Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra (SRPT) dept is organizing a conference on female infertility. Many Scientists, practitioners and academicians have been invited from all over India have been invited to share their success stories and disseminate their practical and theoretical knowledge through Ayurveda. At this conference, many gynaecologists from modern medicines have also been invited to share updates on the topic.” Said Prof. (Dr) Tanuja Nesari, Director AIIA.

A Souvenir was released during the conference encompassing abstracts of research papers to be presented in the papers, full papers of case studies based on the experience of the subject experts from all over the country and poster presentations.

“I want to congratulate the Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra (SRPT) for organizing the Conference. The department is very active from time to time, it takes certain issues that help everyone. In the recent past, it has organized a workshop on UttarBasti. The department through its specialised OPD has successfully treated more than 500 cases of female infertility. There is a vast change in the lifestyle that is causing infertility among women, Ayurveda plays a vital role in treating infertility among women,” said Dr Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Former VC, DSRRAU Jodhpur, Rajasthan

Seven scientific sessions are arranged, in each session a plenary speech of an invited expert speaker will be delivered and scientific papers of registered delegates from all over the country will be presented.
