To support this and to ensure optimal performance for customers in India while complying with local data protection regulations, Altium is planning to have its Altium 365 cloud platform hosted in the region in the second half of 2024.
In addition to its digital and physical presence in the region, Altium is supporting the industry’s long-term growth by investing in and educating the next generation of India’s electronics engineers. Altium will leverage its Altium Education programs which include the Altium Educator Center, the Altium Student Lab, and the Altium Women’s Scholarship Program. With the goal of building a professionally trained workforce of electronic designers who are industry-ready for jobs in the India market, these programs provide educators and students with professional Altium software, curriculum, and training at no charge.
