AMU alumnus Zafar Alam donates 100 PPEs to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC)

Aligarh: An AMU alumnus, former MLA and Link Locks CMD, Mr Zafar Alam donated 100 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). These kits will be donated to those who are in direct contact with the Covid-19 patients.

Receiving the kits from Mr Zafar’s representative, Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui (Principal, JNMC) extended gratitude and urged alumni spread over the world to help AMU fight the Coronavirus spread.

According to the Principal, Mr Zafar has also promised to provide JNMC with more PPEs and other equipments.

“Mr Zafar has been organising the conduct of free-of-cost surgeries of people from lower economic strata at the Department of Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery,” said Prof Harris Manzoor (Medical Superintendent-MS), Dr Obaid Siddiqui (Deputy MS) and Dr Mohd Azam Haseen (Chairman, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery). .
