AMU expresses happiness on JMI researchers’ success

Aligarh: One research scholar of the Department of Biochemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Dr Javed Iqbal was a member of the team of Multidisciplinary Centre for Advanced Research and Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia that developed the saliva-based testing kit to detect COVID-19.

Professor Najmul Islam (Department of Biochemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University) congratulated the team members including Dr Mohan C Joshi, Dr Tanveer Ahmad and Dr Jawed Iqbal, adding that Dr Jawed Iqbal is an alumnus of the Aligarh Muslim University who completed his PhD under his supervision. He said that his colleagues at the department have congratulated Dr Iqbal on the great success.
