AMU faculty delivers series of lectures in JNU Workshop
Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member, Prof Mohammed Naved Khan from the Department of Business Administration shed light on a multitude of topics including ‘Measurement and Scaling’ and ‘Questionnaire Design’ in a series of lectures he delivered in the five-day ‘National e-Workshop on Research Methodology and Publication Ethics’ of the Dr B R Ambedkar Central Library, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
He elucidated various types of scales and scaling procedures used by researchers in social sciences for collection of data and highlighted the use of scales in design of questionnaires.
Prof Khan stressed: “The heart of a survey is its questionnaire and to minimise response errors, questionnaires should be developed in accordance with best practices”.
