AMU faculty gets Mitacs Globalink Research Award

 

ALIGARH  : Dr Irfan Ali, Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Aligarh Muslim University has got the prestigious “Mitacs Globalink Research Award” for research in Canada, jointly with Prof Golam Kabir, University of Regina, Canada to work on the project “Evaluation of Sustainable Development Goals of Canada and India: Agenda 2030”.

Prof. Aquil Ahmed, Chairman of the department, said that under this award, “four research scholars from our department” have been selected to work on the project at the University of Regina, Canada for three t

o four months and they will be paid a monthly stipend of $2000, including their travel expenses to Canada.

He congratulated Dr Irfan Ali and the research students for the achievement.
