AMU faculty offered membership of G100

 

ALIGARH  : Prof. Sheeba Hamid, Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University has been offered the membership of G100, which is an eminent and empowered group of top 100 powerful women leaders leading 100 global wings, supported by G100 He for She champions (Denim Club) and 100 Country Chairs for powerful advocacy, awareness and impact across governments and organizations for a gender equal future. She has also been nominated as state chair Uttar Pradesh.

The G100 includes Nobel laureates, former heads of states, ministers, businesswomen, philanthropists, investors, entrepreneurs, corporate and community leaders, joined in a pact of purpose to create massive opportunities for women worldwide.

It will form a rich repository of expertise, experience and engagement, with diversity and inclusion, and a Vision Document thus created will form the basis of giving suggestions and recommendations to multilateral institutions such as United Nation and governments worldwide.

It provides a global platform for joint action empowering “gender equality beyond borders” under the auspices of ALL Ladies League (ALL), a global sisterhood movement in She-for-She spirit uniting women as “sisters beyond borders”.
