AMU faculty presents paper in IGNTU online seminar

Aligarh: Dr Babu Baksh Mansuri, Professor of Commerce in Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) presented a paper entitled, ‘Self Reliant India through Covid Stimulus Package to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) ?An Appraisal’ in a national online seminar organised by the Department of Commerce, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak, MP.

Dr Mansuri highlighted the importance of micro, small, medium enterprises in India economy and need of financial stimulus package for MSMEs under Atam Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. He hoped that the financial stimulus package would be a boon for MSMEs to resume the economic activities which were halted during lockdown. It will generate new opportunities for growth and development and would also enhance the demand for goods and services across the nation, if fiscal deficit is managed tactfully. The financial package will have far reaching effect on MSMEs to become vocal for our local products and make them globally visible.
