AMU faculty receives ICPR grant for research project

Aligarh : Prof Latif Hussain Shah Kazmi, Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been awarded a grant of Rs 2, 50 000 grant by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), Ministry of Education, Government of India for a proposed research project on, ‘Ethical Dimensions of the Gita and the Quran’.

“I will work on the Gita and the Quran for bringing out their salient ethical features. It is the need of the hour to engage scholars in comparative religion study for understanding the common grounds, providing platforms for interfaith dialogues and for co-existence and progress”, asserted Prof Latif Kazmi.
