AMU, Home Science Faculty member gets Best Paper Award
Aligarh: Zeba, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) got the ‘Best Paper Award’ for her paper on ‘Women’s Participation in Household Activities with Particular Reference to Income Generation’ in the National Conference on “Working Women in Unorganized Sector: Issues and Challenges in Contemporary India”, organized by Department of Commerce, AMU. The conference was sponsored by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
In her paper, she identified the existing condition of women’s participation in income generation activities and compared their income generation activities with men. She had projected a strong inter-relationship between time, money and energy studies.
“Zeba is pursuing research under the supervision of Dr Saba Khan,” said Prof Farzana Alim, Chairperson, Department of Home Science.
