AMU Research Scholar Secured the First Prize in Oral Presentation Category

Aligarh : Mr. Rizwan Ahmad, a research scholar in the Department of Biochemistry (Faculty of Medicine), has clinched the top honor at the prestigious Endocrine Society of India (ESI) Satellite Symposium. His oral presentation, “Structural Perturbations in Human Fibrinogen under Glyco-Nitro-Oxidative Stress: In-vitro and In-silico Approach,” secured the first prize.

Supervised by Prof. Moinuddin, Mr. Ahmad’s groundbreaking work sheds light on the crucial role of fibrinogen protein amidst diabetes-induced stress, offering potential avenues for early metabolic disease detection. Alongside accolades, he was awarded Rs 15,000/- and a certificate.
