AMU student achieves remarkable success

ALIGARH : Mr. Faraz Ahmad, Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University, has been selected as “Scientist B (Geology)” in the Central Soil and Materials Research Station, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, after qualifying the concerned national level examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He is the only candidate selected on an all-India basis against an advertised vacancy.

Prof. Kunwar Farahim Khan, Chairman of the department, congratulated Mr Ahmad for the distinctive achievement.
