AMU students rejoice about the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3

ALIGARH: A large number of university and school students at the Aligarh Muslim University enthusiastically watched the live-steaming of the landing of the Indian spacecraft, Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the moon yesterday evening, which created history in the field of moon exploration.

At the Department of Economics, Prof. Shehroz Alam Rizvi (Chairman) hailed the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar surface which makes India the first to land on the south pole of the moon.

The faculty members and staff of the department keenly watched the event.

In STS School, the live streaming of the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon was screened for the students, teachers and non-teaching staff in the Audio-Visual Lab, Computer Lab and Common Room.

Mr Faisal Nafis, Principal, said it is a proud moment for every Indian.

The students, teachers and non-teaching staff watched the historic moment and celebrated the achievement by showing victory signs and applauding the ‘team ISRO’.

The teachers and students of the AMU Senior Secondary School (Girls) watched the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon and intently listened to the Prime Minister who addressed the nation on this auspicious occasion.

Dr. Shabana Nisar (Officiating Principal) expressed pride in the nation’s great accomplishment and praised the hard work and dedication of the scientists involved in the highly ambitious mission.

The school teachers and students at the AMU Girls’ School clapped, cheered and hugged each other in joy as the spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on the surface of the moon.

The School Principal, Mrs Amna Malik praised the entire team.

The students also listened to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who addressed the nation on this auspicious occasion and congratulated the people on this great feat.

At the Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, the principal Dr Naila Rashid, along with the teachers, students and staff witnessed the momentous occasion in the Assembly Hall of the School. Jamin Noor, a student of class V explained the details of the landing process of the spacecraft, Chandrayaan-3.

The Live Streaming of Chandrayaan-3 landing on moon was watched by the students and teachers of the AMU ABK High school (Girls) in the Computer Lab.
