AMU teacher delivers keynote address

ALIGARH  : Dr. Aamir Riyaz, Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University delivered the keynote address in a one-day seminar on “Relevance of Gandhian Thought in the Contemporary World”, organized by RNTPG College, Kapasan, Chittorgarh.

Dr Aamir discussed the core of Gandhian thought which is formed by the concept of Truth and Non-Violence, Satyagraha, Sarvodaya and Trusteeship. He said that in today’s times when people are more inclined towards material gains, Gandhian philosophy of Ahimsa and Trusteeship becomes more relevant. He emphasized the concept of Ahimsa has a positive approach and love for all.
