AMU teacher visits Serbian universities, delivers lectures
ALIGARH : Dr Javid Ali, Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University recently visited Serbia to carry out several academic activities in universities of Serbia with financial support from the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) and Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
Dr Ali participated in the International Mathematical Conference on “Analysis, Approximation and Applications” organized by University of Kragujevac, Serbia at Vrnjačka Banja. He also delivered a talk on “Fixed Point Algorithms: Convergence, Stability and Data Dependence Results”.
Later, he met Prof. Cemal Dolicanin, State University of Novi Pazar, and Prof. Vesna Velickovic, University of Nis, Serbia, for a collaborative research work and delivered talks for the postgraduate and research students.
He also met eminent researchers, Prof. Vladimir Rakocevic and Prof. Eberhard Malkowski at the University of Nis and discussed some research problems with them.
State University of Novi Pazar, and University of Nis, Serbia provided him with the local hospitality.
