AMU’s Prof Asad U Khan judged among Highly Ranked Scholars by ScholarGPS
ALIGARH : Prof Asad U Khan, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University has secured the 39th rank in the field of Microbiology on global level, as judged by the ScholarGPS, which is the world’s most comprehensive scholarly analytics platform, comprised of powerful computational systems and processes such as novel data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, data distillation, interpretation and presentation.
He has also been identified as “Inaugural Highly Ranked Scholar” in the three Indian scholars identified among top 0.05% and listed among 67 scholars in the world in the field of Microbiology by ScholarGPS,
Highly Ranked Scholars are the most productive (number of publications) authors whose works are of profound impact (citations) and of utmost quality (h-index). Prof Khan has received recognitions earlier in the form of awards and honours by various national and International scientific bodies including Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, for his extraordinary work in the field of Antimicrobial Resistance.
