An excursion to the Karelian branch of PJSC “IDGC of the North-West” took place.
At the training stand, the head of the Relay Protection and Automation Service of the YuKES software for the representatives of PetrSU demonstrated the possibilities for educational operation and setting the parameters of microprocessor devices manufactured by OOO “Mehanotronika”.

The excursion continued in the Relay Protection and Automation Service of the Karelian branch of PJSC “Interregional Distribution Grid Companies of the North-West”, where the head of the service D.Yu. Using the example of oscillograms of emergency processes, Wimberg demonstrated the prospects of their possible use for developing students’ skills in analyzing emergency processes.
