Awareness program for Har Ghar Jhanda Mahotsav

Aligarh : The Department of Economics, Aligarh Muslim University organised an interaction session with students and staff to promote “Har Ghar Jhanda Mahotsav” campaign to invoke patriotism and honour for the national flag.

The initiative is part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav program.

The students and staff were sensitised regarding significance of Independence Day, history of the National flag.

The Chairman, Department of Economics Prof Md. Abdus Salam, interacting with the students and staff, shared the vision of the programme pertaining to the relevance of Independence Day in the life of every Indian. He encouraged students and staffs to take part in the Har Ghar Jhanda Mahotsav and hoist national flag in the department and at their homes during 11th August to 17th August

Dr Md Qaiser Alam and Dr Shahina Perveen, Convener of the programme, briefed 9-points action Program during interaction.
