Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav: DIC Budgam organises virtual quiz session

Budgam: Continuing celebrations relating to Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, (celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence), the District Information Centre (DIC) Budgam today organised a virtual quiz contest.

A large number of enthusiastic students took part in the contest from their personal locations through Virtual Mode.

The quiz programme was organized on a round robin mode for two and half hours. The participants appreciated and hailed the DIC for organising the contest on this pattern, these short sessions have the potential and capacity in developing many areas of knowledge touching every important subject that can prove pivotal in their future contests and competitions.

The District Information Officer (DIO) Budgam, Tajamul Yousuf who himself conducted and anchored the contest appreciated the timely presence of all participants.

In his remarks, he assured the participants that despite the odd situation arising of Covid-19 pandemic, the DIC will continue its efforts to reach out to all enthusiastic students across the district to enable them to gain a lot of exposure and talent that can prove fruitful for them ahead.
