Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav: DSLA Samba organises Marathon under Fit India Movement

SAMBA : District Legal Services Authority Samba, in collaboration with the Office of District Youth Services and Sports and J&K Sports Council today organized a marathon to promote the “Fit India Movement” here at Rani Suchet Sports Stadium under the aegis of NALSA and J&K Legal Services Authority, and under the supervision and guidance of DLSA Chairperson, (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Sonia Gupta.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson encouraged the participants to bring about behavioural changes and move towards a more physically active lifestyle.

Arvind Sharma, Chairman TLSC Samba (CJM Samba); Slahuddin Ahmed, Sub-Judge/Secretary, DLSA; Poonam Gupta, Munsiff and Rashi Verma, Additional Munsiff were also present at the event.

Around 60 students participated in the marathon. In the boys’ marathon, Gharu Ram stood first, Natish Singh stood second and Yog Raj stood third, while in the girls’ marathon, Tani Devi stood first, Sapna Devi stood second and Sakshi Devi stood third.
