With the placement process nearing completion for the founding class, Mr. Uday Virmani, Assistant Dean, External Engagements, said, “It is rare for a school in its first year to have companies like McKinsey & Co, Bain & Co, AD Little, Kearney, Hindustan Unilever, JP Morgan Chase, and BP hiring from its founding class, and offering the kind of roles that they did. We are very happy with the outcomes, and at the same time, thanks to these organizations who have put their faith in the School and in our students.”
Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean BITSoM, stated, “This outcome has been possible due to our unique curriculum, the personalized developmental inputs led by Dr. Leena Chatterjee, the efforts of a stellar faculty pool from across the world, and a top-notch career services team. Credit must also go to our motivated and collaborative students, who worked together to make a statement as the founding class of BITSoM. For the few students left to be placed, we are working towards ensuring the best possible placement outcomes and expect the process to be completed soon. While we have made a very good start, our aspirations are very high, and we will do our best to improve and learn rapidly in the years to come.”
