BNCCI In Association With Techno India Group Conducts Education Conclave At 35th Industrial India Trade Fair

Kolkata : BNCCI, in association with Eastern India‘s largest education group, Techno India Group (TIG), hosted an Education Conclave at the 35th Industrial India Trade Fair.

The theme of the conclave was ‘Canvas of Education in 21st Century post Covid’. BNCCI and the Techno India Group both unequivocally support education at every forum. They feel a conclave of this kind can be a nationwide initiative to endow students with a platform to understand and adapt to the new changes in the education system. Post-pandemic, there are challenges that have been acknowledged and solutions have been sought.

The topics, quite relevant and informative, were Confluence of Technology and Traditional Classroom in Education Sector, Upskilling Teacher Educator & Being Happy – Mental Health.

Techno India Group has evolved as the forerunner in the most advanced courses for students and established its identity as a leader in the field of unique creation. TIG’s pursuit of excellence is driven by the dreams of its founder, Chairman Prof. Goutam Roychowdhury, and Co-Chairman, Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury. As unique entrepreneurs, both not only think about the growth of their own enterprise but also about the society around them and the nation they belong to.

BNCCI, the oldest indigenous Chamber in India was established on 2nd February, 1887. Its history is closely interwoven with India’s struggle for independence. It was a pioneer in championing the cause of Indian industries in pre-independent days. It has an immaculate record of service of over a century to the business community in the East in particular, and India in general. BNCCI actively plays a leading role in policy debates that are at the forefront of the society, economy, development of industry, trade, and commerce. Over the years, the Chamber has diversified into various activities and simultaneously grown in strength.

Shri Debashis Dutta, President of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry encouraged to take this opportunity ahead and he strongly supported every new initiative as a challenge to pursue ahead.

“We are keen to identify and work on present-day challenges in the field of education where Techno India Group can holistically contribute to the cause of the nation. Post pandemic, the education scenario has changed radically with hybrid education becoming a common form of education impartment. There are multiple changes that have come to exist with the teaching community, students and related stakeholders alike trying their best to adapt themselves to this new scenario. We are desirous of working out a seamless transition for everyone so education itself does not suffer”, said Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairman of Techno India Group and Chairperson, Education Standing Committee, BNCCI

The Welcome Address in the conclave was delivered by Shri Debashis Dutta, President, BNCCI, followed by the Keynote Address by Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group & Chairperson, Education Standing Committee, BNCCI.

This was followed by the Lamp lighting ceremony. The Plenary Address was by Prof. Chittaranjan Kole, Ex VC, BCKV & President: GII, ICRCGC, ICPN.

The Speakers at the education conclave were Dr Purba Chattopadhyay, Dept. of Home Science, Calcutta University and Mr. Jimmy Tangree, Head: 91.9 FM. It concluded with a question-and-answer session and Vote of Thanks by Shri Debajyoti Datta, Executive Committee Member, BNCCI.
