Canadian International School to host TechConX to educate educators about technology integration in classrooms
Bangalore, February 05, 2019: Canadian International School Bangalore, India’s 1st Apple Distinguished School, is pleased to announce its Annual Educational Technology Conference, TechConX, to be held at the Canadian International School campus, Yelahanka, Bangalore on February 14th and 15th, 2019 for educators and technology integrationists. An initiative dedicated to discussing and exploring ways and ideas of integrating technology in classrooms, the conference will have around 50 speakers and over 200 attendees including teachers and Ed-Technology specialists from across the country. The event theme is ‘EXPLORE, ENGAGE, EDUCATE’ and seeks to address the dynamic importance of technology and tech integration in classrooms. The program will include presentations, workshops, and hands-on-sessions by several experienced educators and Apple Distinguished Educators as well.
The Keynote speaker for the event would be Dr. Laura Vanderberg, who brings 15 years of experience designing curriculum and implementing educational program evaluations for various types of learners in settings both inside and outside the classroom. Day 1 on February 14th will see an interactive session on exploring creativity with iOS, an operating system used in mobile devices manufactured by Apple Inc. like iPod and iPad followed by Day 2 on February 15th that will focus on exploring, engaging and educating about integrating technology in classrooms.
