Career counselling under BBBP organised in district Samba

Samba: District administration Samba, in its endeavour for empowerment of girl Child, today organised a career counselling programme here at Government Girls High Secondary School, under the aegis of flagship ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign.

Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour presided over the programme along with other female district officers. The career counselling programme was attended by the high school going girls, who were acquainted with various career options available for their persuasion.

Different career guidance programmes were also elucidated by the guest speakers including ARTO, Rehana Tabassum, CDPO Ghagwal, Priya Lakshmi and others.

Similar career counselling programmes shall be held in the girls high schools across the district for the next one week.

District Youth Services and Sports Officers, Kiran Jyoti, Chief Education officer, Dy. CEO, Comparer Vandana Bhagyashree besides principal GHSS Samba Jai Krishan Raina were also present.
