Cent percent financial provisions will be made for development and public welfare schemes: Madhya Pradesh CM
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that development activities and implementation of public welfare schemes depend on revenue collection. We will never talk of shortage of funds, but will focus on collecting revenue more than the target by working hard and tirelessly. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 100 percent financial arrangements will be made for development and public welfare schemes.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a review meeting of revenue related departments at the residence. Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Finance and Commercial Taxes Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, Revenue and Transport Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Finance Shri Manoj Govil and other officials were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in the difficult circumstances of Corona period, all departments related to revenue collection have done excellent work and ensured adequate collection. They deserve to be congratulated for this. Financial arrangements will be ensured for all development activities and public welfare programmes in the coming year as well. In the meeting, the targets and achievements of VAT-CST, GST, Excise, Stamp and Registration, Minerals, Transport, Energy, Forest, Public Property Management were reviewed.
