Central University of Punjab organised a Webinar on “Pursuit for Inspired Career in the Pharmaceutical Sector”
Bathinda: Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) organized a Webinar on “Pursuit for Inspired Career in the Pharmaceutical Sector”. Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Natural Products and Dept. of Pharmacology at CUPB conducted this programme under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari. The keynote speaker of this the programme was Prof. Saranjit Singh, HoD, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER, Mohali.
Keynote Speaker Prof. Saranjit Singh mentioned that youngsters can make an inspired career in Pharmaceutical Sector in the form of employment or entrepreneurship. He shared the new trends in Pharma Sector & highlighted that in coming times technology would play a vital role in drug designing and drug manufacturing. He discussed the application of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Robotics, Nano-Technology, Automation, and other new techniques in Pharma Sector and emphasized that young pharma experts could make an inspiring career in these fields. He motivated youngsters to develop special skills along with their studies and focus on jobs in creative fields in the pharma sector for an inspired career.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Tiwari complimented Prof. Saranjit Singh for sharing valuable knowledge with CUPB students. He appreciated organisers for choosing student-centric topic & emphasized that CUPB is committed to conducting such programmes in future for the larger interest of the students.
During this Webinar, Prof. P. Ramarao, Former Dean Academic Affairs & Retd. Professor, CUPB, Prof. Vinod K Garg, Dean Student Welfare and Prof. R.K. Wusirika, Dean Incharge Academics motivated students with their inspiring thoughts. At the start, Prof. Raj Kumar, HoD, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Natural Products delivered the welcome address. Towards the end, Dr Puneet Kumar, HoD, Dept. of Pharmacology gave the formal vote of thanks. The programme was attended by CUPB Faculty, research scholars, and students of the university.
