CEPECAMI to organise two-day National Workshop from Feb 29

 

Aligarh : The Centre for promotion of Educational and Cultural Advancement of Muslims of India (CEPECAMI), Aligarh Muslim University will organise a two-day national workshop on ‘Role of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Social Work with special reference to Education, Health, Women Empowerment and Environmental Conservation from 29th February to 1st March, 2024.

Mr. Naseem Ahmad Khan, Director, CEPECAMI informed that the inaugural session of the workshop will be held at JNMC Auditorium on 29th February at 10 am, which will be presided over by Prof Mohammad Gulrez, AMU VC, while Syed Zafar Mahmood, President, Zakat Foundation of India will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Farooq Siddiqui, AMP NGO Connect founder, Dr Geeta Bora, Founder and Director, Spherule Foundation and Dr. Tavishi Tewary will be the guests of honour.

The prominent speakers including Syed Tanweer Ahmad (Markazi Taleemi Board, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind), Mr. Gyanendra Mishra (Founder of Udaan Society), Dr. Mohsin Raza (reputed Oncologist, Former President of AMUSU, and Chairman of Umeed Educational and Welfare Foundation and the Society of Breast Cancer), Dr. Ambreen Jamali (Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women Studies-JMI), Dr. Faiza Abbasi, (Director, UGC HRDC, AMU) and others will address the two day workshop.
